There are many landmarks in Yellowstone. heck even Yellowstone national park is a landmark. but inside this massive park lies many landmarks like the old faithful geyser. No visit to Yellowstone national park is complete with out a trip to old faithful. old faithful is a geyser that erupts pretty frequently. it goes in about 91 min intervals. it eruption last about 1 to 5 min. it release about 3,700- 8,400 gallons of boiling hot water. and it reaches about 106 - 184 feet. This is Park headquarters and it radiates history, featuring some of the oldest buildings in the Park, including structures from the days when the U.S. Army was managing Yellowstone. Mammoth Hot Springs are the main attraction of the Mammoth District. These features are quite different from thermal areas elsewhere in the park.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS:
DAY 1: JACKSON HOLE & GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK 1:00-2:00pm – We will meet up at our Jackson hotel for an elk refuge sleigh ride into the wild elk herd estimated at over 5,000 elk! After our sleigh ride we will depart on a wildlife tour of Grand Teton National Park. BrushBuck adventure guests will have their best chance at seeing moose in Grand Teton along with wolf, coyote, bighorn sheep, mule deer, & bison!

DAY 2: GRAND TETON – WEST YELLOWSTONE, MONTANA 7:00 A.M Departure – Today we leave early to see wildlife through the scenic Grand Teton National Park before heading on our way to West Yellowstone, Montana. We will cross over the continental divide on our way and guests will have time to shop in the historical town of West Yellowstone upon arrival.

DAY 3: SNOW COACH INTO YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK 8:00 A.M Departure – Winter is the time to see Yellowstone! On our way to Old Faithful we will see bison, elk, and beautiful winter scenery as we snow coach up the Madison River. Stops include Fountain Paint Pots and Old Faithful where we will see geysers erupt and tour the area on foot. After lunch, we head back to West Yellowstone stopping for pictures along the way.

DAY 4: WEST YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING 8:00 A.M Departure – As we leave West Yellowstone we will take a trip to the geological site where the Hebgen Lake Earthquake of 1959 happened. Guests should expect beautiful winter scenery with deep snow as we head back through Island Park and on to Jackson Hole where our tour will end.
